Tropical Smoothie

Are you one of those people that drink a smoothie in the morning and are completely satisfied for the next few hours? Well I’m not, I need big breakfast but I do like to add a fruity smoothie for a yummy dessert after breakfast. I feel so good afterward knowing that I started a day with a portion of fresh fruits full of vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

Ingredients (serve 2)

1 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup peeled chopped mango
8-12 oz  coconut water
1 cup ice
1 tsp favorite sweetener (honey, agave nectar, stevia etc.)

Throw all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, if needed stir around or add more coconut water.

I’m a big breakfast person too, a smoothie is never enough. Your smoothie looks great, I love the addition of coconut water.

Thank you, I like to make simple smoothies with 2 or 3 ingredients, you don’t really need more and coconut water makes it more tropical.
